About Dental Wellness of Milford

Our location and staff has served Milford area families for nearly 40 years. Now under the care of Dr. Steven Johnson, Dental Wellness of Milford continues the tradition of personalized, comprehensive oral health care for the whole family.

Dr. Steven Johnson, DDS

After receiving his degree in 2001 from the University of Dayton, Dr. Johnson spent a few years in the business world before deciding to attend dental school. He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and then completed a general practice residency at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. A 2nd generation dentist, Dr. Johnson strives to continue the tradition of personal care and relationship building that he grew up witnessing in his father’s practice. After practicing in Colorado, he and his wife returned to the Midwest to be closer to their family and are now a part of the Milford community.

His professional affiliations include:

  • Academy of General Dentistry
  • Cincinnati Dental Society
  • Ohio Dental Association
  • American Dental Association
  • Chicago Dental Society

Dr. Johnson has also undergone extensive training at the Kois Center in Seattle, learning the latest advances in aesthetic, implant, and restorative dentistry. He also holds certifications in Invisalign Orthodontics and Sedation Dentistry.

A Custom Approach to Oral Care

As a private dental provider, Dr. Johnson aims to facilitate a personalized level of care that the corporate dental industry is leaving behind. With a focus on systemic oral-body wellness, he strives to better the overall health of our patients and improve the quality of their lives - not just improving the way their teeth look.

In His Free Time

Outside of traditional practice, Dr. Johnson has provided his services to non-profit clinics serving refugee and underserved populations. He and his wife Erika are the busy parents of three (two boys and one girl) and enjoy spending their time in the great outdoors: downhill skiing, camping, hiking, and watching the kids’ sporting events.
