About Dr. Johnson
After graduating from the University of Dayton in 2001, Dr. Steven Johnson worked in the business world for a few years before realizing his passion for dentistry. He then continued his formal education by attending The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
Upon completing dental school, Dr. Johnson enrolled in a general practice residency at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. Dr. Johnson practiced in Colorado for some time before he and his wife returned to the Midwest to be closer to their family. They are now happy to be a part of the Milford community.

Dr. Johnson has also undergone extensive training at the Kois Center in Seattle, learning the latest aesthetic, implant, and restorative dentistry advances. He also holds certifications in Invisalign®*, Orthodontics, and Sedation Dentistry.
A Personalized Approach to Dentistry
As a 2nd generation dentist, Dr. Johnson strives to uphold the traditions and standards set by his father’s practice. Dr. Johnson grew up witnessing first-hand the difference a commitment to patient care can make, and so he’s made that the driving force in his practice.
As a private dental provider, Dr. Johnson’s goal is to reclaim the personalized care that the corporate dental industry is leaving behind. By focusing on systemic oral-body wellness, he can better serve his patients in improving their overall health and quality of life - not just how their teeth look.
On a Personal Note
Outside of office hours, Dr. Johnson has lent his skills and expertise to non-profit clinics serving refugee and underserved populations. He and his wife Erika are the busy parents of three wonderful children (two boys and one girl) and enjoy spending their time watching the kids’ sporting events and adventuring in the great outdoors: downhill skiing, camping, and hiking.
